Aluminum Doors Open New Possibilities

As OEMs look for ways to lightweight vehicles at an attractive cost for the manufacturing process, Alumobility is conducting joint studies with some of the biggest names in the auto industry to demonstrate that aluminum is the material of choice for the automotive industry.

In this study, we looked at converting a mass-produced C-segment SUV passenger door from steel to aluminum for an affordable lightweight solution.
